The prospects of application the generators with permanent magnets for small wind power plants

Abstract

The paper assesses the prospects for the use of renewable energy sources (RES) in Ukraine. In particular, wind energy is considered as a factor of reducing the environmental load from the activities of the country's fuel and energy complex. The paper assesses the prospects for the use of renewable energy sources (RES) in Ukraine. In particular, wind energy is considered as a factor of reducing the environmental load from the activities of the country's fuel and energy complex. The area is allocated to the use of small wind power plants (WPP) as sources of power supply for autonomous electric receivers up to 50-100 kW. A comparison was made for the recommended generators of such wind turbines. The use of synchronous alternating current generators with excitation from permanent magnets with high magnetic properties based on NdFeB and SmCo was proposed. In work the technical and economic analysis of offered magnets and the analysis of design features of generators with a magnetoelectric are executed.
